Self Assessment Programs

Self Assessment Programs are learning modules physicians can complete independently.  They can be found in digital format (DVD or CD), online, or in hard copy.  Accredited self assessment programs allow participants to claim two credits for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada’s Maintenance of Certification Program for every hour of learning.  

The following modules are self assessment programs of interest to radiologists:

  Self-Assessment Tools within the CAR Journal.
  
  
• Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada's Bioethics e-Learning Modules
  Registration is free, open to everyone and content is relevant across all specialties.
  
  
• Fetal and Women's Imaging 2008: Nuchal Translucency Credentialing & OB-GYN Ultrasound Update
  Self-Assessment Program on DVD offered by World Class CME
  
  
• Breast Density Tutorial or Breast Density Reporting/Recording Project
  Self-Assessment Program on DVD offered by the Screening Mammography Program of British Columbia (SMPBC)
